Baton Twirling is a sport that combines the skillful mastery of twirling, tossing and catching batons with body movements incorporating dance and gymnastics.
The Manitoba Baton Twirling Sportive Association (MBTSA) is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose mandate is to promote and encourage the sport of baton twirling throughout the province of Manitoba at competitive and non-competitive levels.
MBTSA aims to develop fitness and good sportsmanship, and encourages competitive athletes to develop their ability toward regional, national and international skill levels.
