WHAT — You're invited to help us bring a vast new trails vision to life in Western Manitoba by participating in LUCKY TRAILS! Every two weeks, one lucky winner will be drawn to receive a cash payout! That's two cash draws a month, 26 cash draws per year! Read on to discover what we're up to in Minnedosa and why you'll want to support this 50/50 and visit our community soon!

WHERE — The Minnedosa and R.M. of Minto-Odanah region of Manitoba has a well-deserved reputation for outdoor living and recreation. The many projects and work completed by our local Beach Enhancement Committee, Friends of Lake Minnedosa, Minnedosa Lake Enhancement Committee, the attraction of the Splish Splash Water Park and the cabins and camping options in our community are all evidence of the high standards and reputation our region, known by the tag line “Valley Life”, is well recognized for.

WHO — Valley Life Recreation (VLR) is a Minnedosa-based not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of community members and tourism through the design, development, maintenance and promotion of multi-use trail networks for the purpose of encouraging healthy living in the community and tourism in the region of Minnedosa, Manitoba. VLR aims to create an extensive multi-use trails network to highlight the beauty of our region in a way that can be enjoyed by walkers, hikers, cyclists, snowshoers, trail runners and more.

WHAT pt. 2 — Minnedosa’s unique valley geography, complete with widely varying levels of elevation and terrain, make our area on the prairies unique to facilitate professional level mountain biking and multi-use trails. Multi-use trails are used not only for mountain biking but also hiking, trail running, snowshoeing, dog walking, family walks, fat biking and so much more. VLR is excited to further develop trails in our region and soon share plans on a major trails infrastructure plan we have for our community and all Manitobans who visit our region.

Quality trails infrastructure includes social, economic, tourism and healthy outdoor living benefits for all community members.
